ROW80 Update – April 27

  1. Spend at least half an hour every day on writing or editing, an hour on weekends
  2. Finish rewrite of Dragons at Dawn
  3. Post to my blog on the ROW80 update days (Sunday and Wednesday)
  4. Read at least one of my books on writing every week

I have been working on editing every day, but mostly all I am doing is dissecting my stories and characters. I may end up just rewriting everything after I get it all plotted out. Because I have been working so hard on editing I haven’t made much progress reading Writing the Short Story, by Jack M Bickham. However, I decided to write a short story about the early days of my Valkyrie heroine from Finding Valhalla. I consider it a writing exercise, giving me a better understanding of her character and backstory. If it works out I will probably publish it online, either as a free download or for 99¢.

I would also like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for my nephew and his family. It is really appreciated in this dark hour.

That’s it for today. I’ve got to get back to work now. See you on Sunday!

  1. It looks like you’re making good progress. Sometimes dissecting is necessary…I’m going to be dealing with that in my other WIP, that I’m going to work on next.

  2. Looks like a very productive week! Whether it’s writing or editing, you’re doing it !
